Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA)

Tourism agencies in Peru are committed to protecting children and adolescents against all forms of sexual exploitation, especially within the context of travel and tourism. In accordance with Peruvian law and international principles, tourism companies adopt the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) as part of their ethical and social responsibility.

By adhering to this Code, tourism agencies pledge to prevent, identify, and report any situation related to the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. This includes implementing internal policies, training staff, informing clients, and cooperating with authorities to ensure safe tourism practices.

Tourism agencies reject any activity that promotes or tolerates sexual exploitation and actively work to create a safe environment for minors. Through awareness, prevention, and responsible action, the tourism sector in Peru contributes to the protection of children’s rights and the promotion of sustainable and ethical tourism.
