Itinerary
Itinerary: Day 1:
- 9:10 PM Departure towards Junín
- 11:30 PM Stop in Chicla or Corcona for purchases
- Overnight travel in the bus (bring blankets and warm clothing)
Day 2:
- 5:00 AM Arrival and acclimatization
- 6:00 AM Begin 4-hour moderate trek to the glacier
- 8:00 AM Visit Pucacocha Lagoon
- 9:00 AM Ascend to the base of Rajuntay Snow Peak
- 10:00 AM Descend and return to the bus
- 1:30 PM Lunch on the route
- 3:40 PM Return to Lima
- 7:00 PM Estimated arrival in Lima
